A little about me...

       I live and  work in suburban Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania which is just outside  Harrisburg. We are what is known as the Susquehanna Valley, nestled between the Blue Mountains. 

      I have done many things in my lifetime and  became many things.  Most rewarding by far was to be able to help other  people. I started this column to give  insight to others, and possibly bring a ray of hope into their clouded journey through life.

      I'm a trained Rape Crisis Advocate. I've worked in a few Domestic Violence  Shelters, Rehabs, a Hospital and also have volunteered for a Crisis Hot Line for a local  Shelter in Harrisburg which gave me a new insight to life.

      My heritage here is brief, not extending much into the past since  my grandparents  were immigrants from Greece,but America is the land I call home, and am very proud of it.

      I am a  Christian  by  choice. I try  not to wear my religion on my sleeve but sometimes you are forced into standing up for your beliefs. I have no problem with this either.

      I believe we should  live and let live, as long as the way you live does not  interfere  with someone else's peaceful existence. Existing in this world peacefully can be accomplished.

      I am also an  Author. For some strange  reason  I was drawn into this field and have accepted it as my passion. I love to write.  One of my books is listed on this site. There isn't much  more to know about me  as I am a simple  person. I live what  I consider to be an ordinary life. I was a wife and mother. I am no longer a wife, but still a mother. I hope you will all enjoy  the site  and find it as helpful as the people did before you long ago.
