I know you are a fair and honest person. I hope you are not prejudiced against gays. I have a very serious problem. My lover, I will call her Cheryl, is having an affair with a man. I had no idea she was bi-sexual. If I had known I would have dumped her. I do not want a woman who has desires for men. It is hard enough having to compete with other dykes but now dealing with other men???? Please! Do you think I should get rid of her or try to work on our relationship. I really do love her alot. We have been together for at least 4 years. We have gotten household items together so splitting up could be complicated. I really have no desire to be with another woman. But I guess she sure has other desires. Any advice for a sage old Lesbo?

It is not a matter of being prejudiced. I try to be as fair as I can and always honest which has gotten me into trouble on occasion. You are a fellow human being and for this reason I love you. But I must be honest. Homosexuality is wrong. It goes against the Universe, Mother Nature, and God. People of the same sex having sex is abnormal.
The new age word for "lesbianism" is "bi-sexual". I was appalled at the recent Ellen Degeneris Show. She has intentions of proving to the kids of the world and the general public that homosexuality is ok. We put many names on things to intimidate people into accepting certain standards. Hence, many homosexuals have labeled heterosexuals as "homophobic".
Male and female is natural, has always been. Male and female is necessary for the procreation of man, no matter how you try to synthesize it.. A point to take into consideration is this. In homosexual relationships one party fulfills the role of "female" and the other one the "male", even if that includes surgery. . Taking part in cross- dressing and wearing female things identifies them. And Lesbians do the same. One fills the role of male the other female.
So, you see you are back to the male and female roles again. No getting away from it. I think you need to seek good counseling and by all means be careful who you enlist to counsel you. Many of the Counselors today unfortunately are encouraging the degeneration of our society. They seem to have no backbone in taking a stand for moral issues, but choose to go with the flow so as to not "rock the boat". By doing this we create a very weak society and confused kids.
I was very offended by the Ellen Degeneris Show and think it needs to be removed from the air. I do not think this is the message we need to send to kids that homosexuality is normal and ok. But as you can see, not only did it remain on the air, but new gay shows were added as time went on.
We are only making the jobs of parents much more difficult. Eventually TV's will have to be removed from the household if you do not want your kids to see such things. Our prime time shows are not entertaining anymore for most adults, not to mention children who follow role models set by celebrities. We need to stop mamby pambying around with major issues in this country out of fear of rejection by our fellow citizens and call as it is.
Our country is on a downward spiral. It is being hijacked not only by our Government, but by Hollywood as well. Socialists have infiltrated our country and are being successful at taking it apart, piece by piece. Homosexuality is only one of the means they are using to achieve this.

I can't believe our President is handing us over to the muslims like he's doing. Can you believe it? What a traitor! The world trade centers are sacred ground. Lives are lost there. People are still buried there not all were found. How slimy is that guy. I'd like your opinion on this. I'm seeing some loons in favor of the Mosque.

It's good to be back again. Unfortunately, I don't have as much time now as I did back then, but I'm still going to do this. There seems to be a need more than ever now. Our world is morphing into something no one recognizes.
You are correct when you say Ground Zero is sacred. Although many would agree with your opinion of the President we must remember that he still holds a very sacred office. That does not mean we have to accept his policies or his arrogance, but we must respect the office of the President of the United States. And remember, every President can be impeached.
To answer your question... what is being overlooked here is the fact that our country was built on democracy and we are also a republic. Americans as a whole are against building a Mosque near Ground Zero. According to our Constitution if the "collective" is against it then that's good enough. The majority of Americans ARE against it. Some outraged, some silent, some are actively protesting. The people have spoken. They don't want a Mosque near Ground Zero. That should be enough.
The Constitution is a body of laws we must adhere too. In order for a Bill to become a law it must be voted on. It's a majority rule. Once a Bill becomes a law it can be amended.. and amended and amended again. Nothing is written in stone and all requires a voting process. You cannot violate the Constitution, even though people today seem to think it's written on toilet paper and are violating it in plain daylight and not caring.
In closing, I'd like to say that I believe Islam is a threat to the free world. I believe it is awake while we are sleeping. The Imam has said a few times that he would like to see the United States embrace Sharia Law. This type of law, the Sharia Law, is barbaric and evil, in my opinion. What we need to embrace as Americans is that all nationalities, religions, and stations in life are welcome here. The key to making this successful is respecting each other and living together in peace. That also means not being disrespectful, arrogant or war-like. Respectful of each other. As long as their is arrogance, belligerence, hatred, and a government who wants to snuff out some and elevate the rest, we will live in turmoil. Time to wake the sleeping Lion, America!
